Today was an eventful day! We went to Tzvat, one of the four holy cities in Israel. The first thing we did was go into a cave. We sang a few songs in the dark. The echoes and us singing together sounded magical. I felt inspired by all of us singing together in a holy place. The last song was one we sing at camp and reminded me of it. After that we went to a place where a lady showed us how she makes a mezuza from glass blowing. She talked about her experience moving to Israel and connecting with her Judaism. After we walked around Tzvat a little and enjoyed the views, we met up to eat lunch. We had different options today and I got shawarma. It was the best shawarma I have had. We left Tzvat and went to a place where we learned about Hebrew script. I tried writing my Hebrew name in the letters and it was so hard. The last place we went was rafting and it was my favorite thing we did on the trip so far. We spent almost half the time in the water and got soaking wet. There was a water fall in the river and it felt like being on a roller coaster for a little. I have already had so much fun on this trip and I can’t wait to do more!
