Noah Devir, from Chicago, IL, is entering 11th grade at Kenwood Academy.
Today was jam packed with fun and hard activities, including an early morning hike, which had us waking up at 4 am to see the sunrise on the mountains in the southern district of Eilat, and all sorts of water activities on the Red Sea. Seeing the sun rise over the mountain made me feel a sense of accomplishment, after a hard hike up, being able to see the payoff was a very good feeling. After the hike down, we came back to the hotel to change and eat breakfast. We then continued on to the Red Sea to go tubing and banana boating, which really took me back to my time at camp. We then took a trip to the Ice Mall where we got food and walked around to various shops. There is a quote that Rabbi Noam says everyday on the bus, it’s going to be the best day of the summer” and I truly believe that today was one of them. I cannot wait for our last week on TJJ to make many more amazing memories and experience Israel even more.
