This Shabbat, for the free weekend, I got to stay with one of my best friends who moved to Israel a few years ago. It was so nice to have a chance to catch up and spend time with her. We started the weekend off by getting a full night’s sleep and waking up bright and early Friday morning for a beach day. Later on, we spent some time touring around the city she lives in, Zichron Yaakov, and eating plenty of ice cream. That night, we had a huge meal for Shabbat and then her family took me to their synagogue for Friday night services. Saturday gave me plenty of time to catch up on my sleep and spend time hanging out and playing games with my friend and her family. Overall, it was a fantastic weekend and I had a great time staying in Zichron with my friend!
