Waking up in Eilat, I had a feeling it was going to be quite hot out so I mentally prepared myself. We started off our day by going a place called, Top 94 where there was rock climbing, archery, ropes course, bungee jumping and more. Many of us faced our fears and jumped off a platform, which was super entertaining and thrilling! We then headed to the Dead Sea where it was really hard not to get salt in our cuts. It was super hot there, the real feel was 111 degrees! The Dead Sea was really interesting because while I had learned about it before, I had never seen or experienced it for myself. It was definitely one of the coolest things that I’ve experienced on this trip. After swimming some, we headed to our home for the night, the Bedouin Tents. We first went camel riding there and then had a delicious dinner. After some free time we walked out as a group to the middle the middle of the desert and did Hisbodidut, meditation. It was really nice to have time to meet ourselves and just sit with our thoughts in such a silent, safe atmosphere. We ended the night with a bonfire and singing, where my friends and I shared our reflections from the summer and what we are really going to miss. It was quite the day and I can’t wait for our last Shabbos in Jerusalem!
